"It's been a very long journey for me in the field of handicrafts. Every day is a new experience for me....""Hello, my name is Parvez A Warsi and I was born on August 9, 1954 in the colorful city of Agra, where beauty begins and ends with one of the seven wonders of the world - the Taj Mahal. I have a longstanding relationship with the world of handicrafts. It all started when my ancestors began stitching royal clothing for kings, queens, princes and princesses. As time passed by I got myself into tailoring, though not stitching clothes for the royals but for the general public. Then, I joined my brother-in-law who was into crafting decorative items with embroidered motifs. I began to work with him in 1974 and helped him for almost eight years. In 1982, I started my own workshop of crafting gift items, wall hangings, evening bags, etc., all featuring embroidery work. During this time I was still involved in designing and stitching dresses with embroidered motifs.
"I was personally involved in making the products until recently, for now I am able to offer jobs to other artisans and together we create new ides and designs. It's been a very long journey for me in the field of handicrafts. Every day is a new experience for me and with each experience I learn more about my work and my profession. I have very big dreams as far as my work is concerned.
"I have displayed my products in many exhibitions within and outside India like New York, San Francisco, Germany, Tokyo and Bangkok, and it has altogether been a great experience for me. The response from my customers has been overwhelming. Recognition is one of the most important aspects in this craft, for it means the appreciation of your work and that you've proven your ability. I am proud to mention that the Uttar Pradesh Government has been kind enough to appreciate my works of art, by honoring me with the Small Scale Industry Award. In San Francisco, I also received an Award for Excellence in handicrafts."

The Christmas ornaments I ordered are absolutely beautiful. I didnt order them in time for this years tree, and now I cant wait til next year so I can use them. I intend for them to eventually pass down to other family members, a long time from now, of course. The quality is exceptional. Thank you.
I just received the ""Golden Bliss"" Christmas ornaments from Parvez, and I was so impressed! The ornaments are so detailed, they look even better in person than they do in the picture. I was also very happy with the gift-wrapping on the box, which was a natural-looking paper, tied with a silk ribbon. My mom saved the beautiful silk ribbon, and we plan to use this eco-friendly wrapping idea in the future! Thanks for a great product!
I recently purchased the ""Star of Bethlehem""beaded ornaments. They are EXQUISITE!!!. The photo does not do them justice. I do a lot of hand work and beading, so I know what went into these. I also know that many hands are required in such production. Blessings on all. Warm Regards, Katrina
