Huichol Black and White Beadwork Waterfall Earrings, "Black and White Arrowheads"
Long, slender earrings more than three inches long come to life in black and white. At the top, triangles resemble arrowheads. Arrows belong to the shaman, or who is able to speak with the blue deer, brother of the Huichol people. Artisans from Mexico's Huichol Center for Cultural Survival and Traditional Arts craft their design by hand, meticulously placing each diminutive bead one by one.
Huichol Handcrafted Beadwork Waterfall Earrings, "Turquoise Cascade"
Scintillating seed beads cascade from diamonds in very long, lovely earrings. Diamond-shaped talismans known as the "eyes of God" refer to the four cardinal points in Huichol belief, and direct one to the correct path of life. Meticulously handcrafted by artisans of Mexico's Huichol Center for Cultural Survival and Traditional Arts, they combine turquoise seed beads with pastel green and pale grey.
Purple-Fuchsia-Burgundy Huichol Beadwork Waterfall Earrings, "Purple Chic Cascade"
Strands of tiny seed beads in shades of purple align with fuchsia, burgundy and white. Meticulously crafted by hand, these dramatic statement earrings are more than four inches long. Artisans from Mexico's Huichol Center for Cultural Survival and Traditional Arts craft their jewelry by hand, meticulously placing each diminutive one by one and adding colorful globes for accents.
