I thought I would check out the necklace: it was pretty, the price was right (on sale for $56 or so), and it was my first-ever purchase with Novica - it was an experiment I could afford. The beads and stones are miniscule. I'm not sure how the word "lavish" made its way into the description. Given the overall size of the beads and stones, the price is okay. The necklace can be worn by an adult but its dimensions make it likely wearable by a child. The necklace is sweet but doesn't have the lovely appearance the photo conveys: in actuality the beads and stones cluster tightly together and are not differentiated like in the picture. The retail price of $96 is too high. I would have given this three starts but the picture and description seemed misleading.
