The lead singer in the band strums the cords of his electric guitar as he sings to Mexico's Armando Ramírez. Mastering the art of recycling metal and auto parts, Ramírez sculpts the singer with pieces from a car's ignition and electrical system for the body, wire for the limbs, and pieces left over from a die machine for the hands, feet, and head. Additional metal parts are transformed into an electric guitar, the microphone and the base.
Armando has built his workshop and is now able to give work to other artisans to continue expanding his craft all over the world.
Armando has received 1st place from the regional contest of the Jaliscience Institute of Crafts for his sculptures.
Armando uses and continues to pass down traditional techniques to his children, who now carry on his same methods.
