Working to help his village by training and empowering local craftspeople, Ghana's Peter Turkson Kwame Boakye is proud to present his own designs in this decorative puppet. It is handcrafted from calabash gourd shell in the shape of a person with jewelry and headwear. A cotton gown adorns the figure with tree and musical motifs decorating its surface. The puppet is displayed on a sese wood stand.
