"I'm Vikrant Bhosle and I was born in Mumbai in June, 1972. Those who know me well describe me as someone who is passionate, friendly and a team worker.

"I initially worked in IT, However, I left this job in 2015 to begin working with handmade carpets and rugs. I love the crafting technique. When anyone watches the weavers at work, they'll fall in love with the beautiful colors and intricate technique. This art has been passed down by the ancestors for generations.

"I am learning about this art every day and, in the last two years, I have been able to master only a little. I love working with natural fibers and yarns like wool, silk, bamboo silk and jute. A lot of my yarns are recycled. The most challenging part about this art is the weaving technique, but it gives beautiful colors and designs to the carpets.

"My main goal is to help make India the world's most important supplier of handmade rugs and carpets. My family has supported me in all my endeavors. Together we manage every single step in the process.

"We have skilled artisans who collaborate with us and each one of them can create absolutely any design. My workshop is a source of support for these talented weavers and their families, and we are especially happy to promote the education of their children."
