"I love working in ceramics. Seeing animals or shapes in nature — this gives me the opportunity to transmit ideas, passions and values."
"I'm convinced that art is the instrument needed to bring about a cultural revolution in health, education and culture. I believe all of this together can strengthen talent. I think it's important that public policies that are transparent and inclusive to help fortify education, emotional health and the development of an individual identity.
"From the day, I decided to be an artisan, I've been preparing myself academically and emotionally. I majored in international relations and earned a master’s in emotional intelligence in Spain.
"A fundamental part of the process was finding a technique with which I could pour out everything inside me. I had to be tenacious and constant. I had to be aware of what I wanted and didn't want in life.
"To create my designs, I always seek creativity and work with focus, sensitivity, steadiness and discipline. I apply conscience, passion and honesty to my designs and, through them, I express my love for Mexico.
"Every day, I find a reason to smile. My wife and son are a great motive. I'm a sensitive person and am happy crafting what I like. I love working in ceramics. Seeing animals or shapes in nature — this gives me the opportunity to transmit ideas, passions and values. I like being playful and I depict origami figures in ceramic.
"My designs are distinguished by a fingerprint that has become my signature. The marks on the opposite side represent transformation. They are made up of a circle with four symbols that signify conscience, one's own transformation, social change and creating an economy with art.
"Urban spaces are very important to me because I see them as places of transformation. I believe in my Mexico and think we should work harder and better to achieve an environment of happiness instead of an ambience sacrifice.
"Through my work, I hope to create a channel of communication. I want to send a social message that can educate, inspire and heal others. I hope each person finds a meaning for my art in his or her home.
"Through my foundation Todos Dejamos Huellas (We All Leave Footprints), we host urban galleries and work to develop talent and emotional health. We also share talent with muralists, painters, sculptors, communicators, filmmakers and people who want to leave a deep and lasting impression. We're in the process of finding and helping to shape young artists.
"I strongly believe that emotions can help people's abilities emerge. I hope to create a talent institution where students learn to channel their emotions to make art a medium of love, inspiration, unity and life. I want to share the idea so that we can all make our mark through small actions that positively impact our environment."
