The brass beads and charms on this anklet resound with the jewelry traditions of Thailand. Tiraphan Hasub designs this flirty anklet, which she crafts by hand with rich brown cords. The anklet fastens with a non-ringing brass bell.
Tiraphan hires other artisans at her workshop to help her craft her popular jewelry.
Tiraphan is deeply committed to ensuring that her children receive the best education. She pays for them to attend a local international school, as she wants them to have the best possible start in life.
Tiraphan has thyroid disease. She tires easily and sometimes it is difficult to to find the energy for everything. Yet she refuses to let it compromise her work.
Tiraphan has steadily grown her jewelry project and now provides work for other artisans in her community.
The Women's Empowerment badge is awarded to female artisans or artisan groups that are led by women.
This artist shows a lot of talent or potential and is in their late teens or twenties.
Among the workers at Tiraphan's workshop are some who suffer from polio.
Tiraphan supports her two children.
A unique and high quality anklet. One that will be your "go-to" piece for the summer.

This piece is quite different than others, I love it and I get compliments on it quite often.

Due to the miniscule size and weight of the beads and charms the anklet does not lie flat but twist in an unattractive manner on the ankle. Will not recommend.
