An eclipse of ominous beauty, this mask is enlivened by the expressive features of the sun and moon. The Inca regarded themselves as children of the sun, for he protected and offered guidance. The moon, on the other hand, indicated the right time to prepare the land, sow the seeds and harvest the fruits of the earth. Ana Maria Enciso crafts the piece of copper and bronze and treats the faces to a galvanized bath, achieving the distinct green finish.

"Just love it"
Its a cute Sun and Moon wall art. Bought it last year, there isnt any black dots or discoloration as in some copper art works. Still beautiful as it first got. Looking for other arts from Ana Maria Enciso!

"Brilliant, Lovely and Exceptionally Presented"
Yes, as a collector of suns (this one, to mark the event of the eclipse), I loved this unique metal sun with its rich green base and the shiny gold accents. Brilliant! However, what I truly enjoyed the most was opening this treasure. The packaging was beautiful - a gorgeous burgundy print paper, a lovely bow and a tiny and colorful woven doll as a bow accent, along with a special card from the creator. I actually attached the bow, card and doll to the back of the sun before I hung it, so as to remember the joy I experienced when I opened it. CONSIDER THIS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL AS A GIFT. Thank you for my latest, lovely sun!

"Fabulous!"
This mask wall art caught my eye when I saw a picture of it - I just immediately loved the color of the copper patina with the shiny flashes. The pictures online dont do it justice as it just gleams on my wall from all the way across the room and draws you to it. It isnt a big hanging, but it is definitely a show-stopper! Im so happy I splurged on it!
