Shaped like a diamond, a bull horn pendant centers this hand crafted necklace by Ila Suleyman. He includes cow bone beads adorned with batik techniques, bright beads of recycled plastic and, sese wood. "I call this design Pogyanga, the Mossi term for an elder woman of great wisdom," says Suleyman. From northern Ghana, Mamprusi people are predominantly rice and cattle farmers. The necklace fastens with a brass hook.
