By Una Gupta, this trendy tunic showcases an ancient Indian art. Blue cotton chambray features geometric motifs that use traditional dori embroidery techniques. Dori refers to a somewhat heavy thread that is applied to a lightweight fabric with couching stitches. The scoop neck features a tasseled drawstring, and the top slips over the head.

For the past five or six years, it has been difficult for Una to focus on her fashion workshop. She has been caring for her mother, who is now in the advanced stages of Alzheimers and no longer recognizes her. Una must constantly watch her mother to ensure that she does not harm herself or others. In addition to the limitations it places on Una with her work, it is extremely painful for her to watch her mother disappear in front of her.
Una has a small workshop in the garage next to her home. She is able to employ sewers, a pattern maker and artisans who hand-finish, embroider and embellish her garments.
