"Cheap, thin cotton and High Maintenance! Not for m"
Like other products from India sold at street fairs, this garment is made of VERY thin cotton and must be either dry cleaned OR hand-washed and line dried - then ironed. Much too high maintenance for me - and its care needs were not explicit in the catalog listing nor are those mentioned consistent with the instructions on the label. Returned immediately.

"Wasnt sure I would like this but its great"
The material is light and a bit scratchy but Ive found I wear this poncho a lot because it is very warm and hangs gracefully. I also like that it is the original paisley pattern. A note for future purchasers that its a little darker and has more reddish accents than it looks in the picture
