This beautifully colorful runner is the creation of Alfredo Ruiz in Mexico, who uses a traditional loom and all-natural dyes. The pure wool runner rug features a tessellated pattern of fish in a rainbow of colors, with a border of light sage. Hand-knotted fringe adorns both ends.

"This is a treasured heirloom that I can past down."
I am very proud of my wool rug, Claret Rhombi because it is a outstanding heirloom that everyone gives compliments every time they walk in the house. I share with them where I received it and let them know that can help others by going into Novica.com and become partners with this wonderful company! My friends loved the idea of helping others. This work was done with great love and the colors are so majestic with such great impressive beauty that is so and now I have the privilege to past this to my only son. I know he will take pride and treasure this wool area rug as I do.I hope and pray that others will be so happy as we are in displaying this beautiful piece of excellent work in our home. Exquisite, lovely are words that others are describing this elegant rug that is displayed in our living room. "This little rug makes me smile every morning"
The colors are true to the picture and it is perfectly crafted. It is so soft that it puts a big smile on my face every morning when I get out of bed and again at night. I absolutely love it! Thank you!

"Exactly What I Wanted"
My girlfriend and I moved from New Jersey to Sedona 8 months ago. We are in the process of decorating in a manner that is southwestern without being cliche, without being cartoonish. We looked at Zapotec rugs in local stores. They were what we were looking for in the way of rugs. I was prepared to pay the high price they were asking, but we didnt find exactly what we wanted. Then I happened on Novica, had never heard of this site, and found exactly what I wanted, for much less money, and a lot more of that money going to the artisan. This piece by Alfredo Ruiz is simply superb!

"Perfect!"
I would send a picture of the rug in our mountain cabin but it does not seem possible. This rug is gorgeous and of the highest quality and it goes perfectly in our cabin in front of our wood stove. We could not be happier with it!

"Memories of Home"
The Artist Alfredo Ruiz created this beautiful rug, which will be hung on the wall at my daughters home. She said it is too beautiful to use as a rug on the floor! The blessings this rug have given our family are without count. It is also a talisman that we will be able to visit home in Oaxaca one day. Maybe then we will meet Alfredo too!
