Its wax-impregnated material resists rain through years of hard wear. Seven outer pockets, including two hand-warmer pockets, keep all of your essentials comfortably at hand. One inner pocket is perfect for wallet, passport, or MP3 player. Snaps at the waistband and a zip closure with snap-over storm flap keep the wind out. Flannel lined with a nubuck leather-lined collar.
Use a soft brush to remove any dirt. The jacket can be spot-cleaned with a damp sponge and cool water, but using detergent or dry cleaning will destroy the waterproof treatment.

"NOVICA is tops again!"
Once again, the catalog has introduced me to a top-notch product. Oilskin is heavy and smells of oil and wax when new, so be aware. (The smell is very temporary and inoffensive.) This is a sign that it is correctly made. And you can't put it in the washing machine, although cleaning is actually easy, and instructions are included. Attention to detail, heavy duty components (snaps and zipper) and versatile pockets are exactly as described. If this sounds like something you want...it probably is (and it's well worth it). You'll probably like the collar and liner, too. I am very satisfied.

"Great Quality"
This is a wonderful vest! There is a lot of attention to detail with all the pockets. The oilskin canvas has a great finish and looks very durable. The inside is lined with a soft plaid fabric. I cant wait for my husband to get a chance to wear this! I think it will be the perfect compliment to his travels!

"Perfect gift for any man!"
I bought this as a Christmas gift for a very dear friend who is active and outdoorsy! He was thrilled with the gift and wears it constantly. This was a wonderful gift choice and surprisingly priced given its luxury feel and many features.

"Oil skin vest is just what I wanted"
This is a Christmas gift for my son. I purchased one years ago for my husband and he loves it. The retailer no longer carried it and I am so pleased to find another one. It looks like it will fit and the quality is outstanding.

"Awesome Vest, Excellent Quality"
Im very impressed with this vest. Its quality is solid and its now my favorite go to jacket for nearly everything. It would be great for hunting, fishing, or riding motorcycles, but its also great looking for an everyday wear. Functional and solid all around. One warning though, the described sizing seems off. Luckily I called Novica and they said the vast majority of returns on this product were because it was too small. So I ordered a size large, when the described medium should have fit me. Im glad I did, the large fits perfectly. So if in doubt between two sizes, go with the larger of the two.

"Looked at it for years - finally bought it!"
As a machine knitter, I knew it was a good price. Its also extremely well made.Although the sleeves are a bit long on me, as its sized for a man, I absolutely love it. You should really market it as unisex. Just have to watch out for the floats - fortunately Im quite skilled in repairing pulls.
