Love knows no boundaries and its force has the power to transform scrap metal pieces and auto parts into a sculpture with strong romantic undertones. Armando Ramírez recycles spark plugs into the lovers' bodies, thick wires for their arms and limbs, and discarded pieces from a die machine for their heads and feet. The bench and base are made of metal sheets from die machines. Ramírez masters this original art form as he successfully conveys the warmth of emotion with cold metal pieces.
I bought this for my daughter for the anniversary of her engagement! She loved it! Her father worked in the garage a lot , so we saw a lot of the pieces that Armando used for the sculpture! Truly remarkable! We will purchase from him again!

This sculpture was given and received with love in our recent 6th wedding anniversary. My wife and I are both artists in our own right so the handmade quality of this object was perfect. Appreciate supporting this wonderful artist in Mexico who uses recycled metal as well. A brilliant gift idea in every aspect!

As always, I found the artistry and appeal unique and stunning. I was disappointed though that the item was not wrapped nor was there information about the artist. Those details always added to the quality and authenticity of the piece

Our niece and soon to be 'nephew in law' LOVED this piece. It was the perfect souvenir for their engagement. We etched the year on the bottom-it's fantastic.

“As a child I enjoyed inventing toys, and soon yearned to create a unique style of art. Environmentally enamored, I now transform recycled goods.”
