Signed Modern Painting of a Flying Clock from Java, "Fly at Ten-To-Ten"
With this fascinating modern painting by Javanese artist Anton Papo, the artist tells a story of a clock shop he went to where all of the broken clocks read 10:10, or "ten-past-ten." He works with acrylics, ink, and graphite, depicting a dark clock with wings, its hands resting at the enigmatic time. The painting is inscribed with "fly at ten to ten."

"Honored to Have This"

There's no doubt this is a high quality piece made by a talented artist. It's even more fabulous in person with the brush strokes and detail adding texture and pop. We are honored to have this in our home.

"Perfect title!"

As an Animal Advocate and proud pet parent to many rescues. I believe a time will come when "old customs" in third world countries will be frowned upon and outlawed. This painting is very fitting for my heart and home. The colors are as "DARK" as the old custom's themselves! Anton Papo, thank you for the lovely work of art. Looking forward to seeing more of your paintings!
