Bold, chunky textures and fascinating grains of gray and brown distinguish this necklace by Rachel Armah. She works in soapstone with its rich earthen tones, and adds bauxite beads, believed to be healing, to flank the clasp. She names her design Anidaso, which means "hope" in the Akan language.
