From Alok Jain, this sterling silver bracelet links colorful gems associated with chakras. Set in sterling silver, amethyst, iolite, citrine, peridot, garnet, blue topaz and carnelian total 7 gemstone carats. Clear and light purple stones are associated with the 7th chakra (awareness and wisdom); the purple, violet and indigo gems with 6th chakra (insight and perception), and the blue or light blue with the 5th, that of communication and truth. Green and pink stones are for love and compassion, linked to the heart, on the 4th chakra. For inner power and will, the 3rd chakra is associated with yellow gems, whereas emotion and sexuality are linked to red and orange gems for the 2nd chakra. Black gems are used to stimulate the 1st chakra, that of stability and security.
In Sanskrit, chakra refers to an energy vortex through which vital universal forces are channeled, and there are believed to be seven in the human body. When all seven are aligned the person feels a healthy sense of well-being.

"Broke within a week!"
Very disappointed in this bracelet - is made very poorly which is a shame because it is a beautiful and expensive piece. First, it comes with a tiny clasp which is nearly impossible to get hooked (it barely opens wide enough to hook) so I had to take it to a jeweler to have a larger clasp put on it at a cost to me of $20. Then it broke within one week of wearing it! One of the circle eyes at the pointed end of one of the gemstones just broke off - I wasnt doing anything but walking across my laundry room and it just fell off. Thank goodness it happened at my house and I felt it fall off so that I could return it otherwise I would have been out over $100.

"Class Ring"

"Looked for a Long Time and Found These!"
I had wanted Hamsa earrings but many that I saw online were crudely designed and didnt speak to me. These are delicate, colorful, finely cut and just beautiful. Although the gemstones are small, they are richly colored and definitely enhance the silver.
