Crafted by hand with coiled ribbons of sterling silver, these regal hoop earrings are created by Balinese artisan Rupadana. He accentuates each earring with a combination of finishes. This accessory is named after Celuk, a region in Bali.

"My new go-to earrings"
These earrings were just what I wanted, a hoop but with an interested design. I didnt give them a 5 star rating because they tarnish easily and when I first tried to open and close the clasp the wire that goes through the ear bent. After opening and closing them, they are ok and I was able to bend the wire back into the approximate shape.

"Beautiful"
Enjoyed similar pair in fan shape, and this pair given as a gift. Sterling silver contrasts well with black lava stone. Recipiant was pleased as well. EO can be applied to lava stone, which I learned on the internet.

"Lightweight and beautifully made"
The low-key earrings can be worn with anything from sports to entertainment to business settings. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that I wish they were a brighter silver when looking face on.

Rupadana has steadily grown his workshop and now has assistants to help him.
Rupadana incorporates traditional Balinese motifs and contemporary styling to create beautiful jewelry with traditional silversmithing techniques. He learned the art of silverwork as a child and started his own his own workshop with only 25 grams of silver. He has struggled through hard economic times but has steadily grown his jewelry project. He is proud to provide work for several assistants.
As the seventh of nine children, Rupadana worked at an early age to help provide for his basic needs. Today he is proud to be able to care for his three children and provide them with a better life.
Rupadana receives nearly half his income from Novica sales. They are instrumental to survival of his family and workshop.
