Table runner (1x3), "Yellow Iris"
Yellow irises sprout amid long flat foliage, their warm hues showing depths of ochre and brown. Working in autumn colors, Efrain Curi weaves a trio of brilliant bouquets. He tints the soft wool with selected dyes and, once satisfied with the colors, he uses a type of spinning wheel to fill each bobbin with floss. After sketching his design on paper, he creates it by carefully placing each weft (horizontal) thread on the handloom. Titled "Flor de OtoƱo" in Spanish.
90% wool, 10% cotton. Dry clean only.

"Gorgeous"

I met Mr. Curi a number of years ago when I was in Peru and bought a number of his pieces then. When I saw his work was available on Novica, I was thrilled. This piece was every bit as beautiful as the ones I bought a decade ago. I would highly recommend any of his pieces. They are all stunning.

"Great Craftsmanship"

Love this colorful, vibrant tapestry, which gives warmth to a stark white door and gray-painted apartment. Adds much cheer to my space, and has held up well over the years!
