Details

Nii Teiko Aryeetey in Ghana presents a unique rendering of a traditional Ghanaian bus station in Accra. The buses are called tro-tro, which comes from the Ga word for "three pence", once the fare for riding such a bus. The fronts of the buses bear whimsical slogans such as 'Come Back', 'Old Days, and 'Good Time'. Behind the buses are colorful queues of market-goers, waiting for the bus to take them home.
