Narrow as a needle, this exquisite mask reveals the eternal intrigue of West African aesthetics. Lustrous brass repoussé enhances the contours of natural sese wood. Daniel Nyadedzor carves an image from the Akan people of Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire. A smaller face sits atop the stylized visage, which Nyadedzor names Asom Dwoe, meaning "Peace" in the Akan language.

I get sooo many compliments from friends for the mask I purchased.

I bought the ""Chieftain"" cane from this artist. It is very beautiful, and captures the spirit of West Africa. I am very pleased with my purchase and with Novica and their Partner Artisans. Thank You.
""The Sweetheart"" sculpture makes me smile because it is so pretty. Blessings.
