With petals like stars, wildflowers bloom in gentle pastels, covering the hillsides with summer beauty. Browns, greens, yellow and pale grey mingle with beige and navy blue. Neatly woven by hand in virgin wool, the elegant motifs grace a traditional Mexican rug. Gregorio Ruiz Lopez works on the handloom to create designs his father taught him. Titled "Diamantes zapotecas" in Spanish, this rug features a hem instead of fringe.
Because each rug is individually woven, measurements could vary +/- 2 inches (5 cm).
