Huge fan of Angels work
My father collects all of Angel Cerons work. He has several urns and some masks. He didnt have this bat urn so I got it for him for Christmas. He was thrilled. He really appreciates the fine detail in Angels pieces.
This piece of art is perfect and amazing! I couldnt have asked for anything better on it. The detail, structure and colors are perfect! I love it.
Angel Ceron Artisan Association Ceramic replicas and figurines
"Now that I'm retired, I can dedicate my time to my great passion – representing my pre-Hispanic cultural heritage."
I've been working hand-in-hand with you since 2003. It was my nephew, Eduardo Escamilla, who suggested this, and I found the project to be spectacular. As you may know, I'm an engineer by profession but I feel an overwhelming passion for our pre-Hispanic cultures.... read more

Guatemala Carved Cedar Maya Ballplayer Sculpture, "Jaina Island Ballplayer"$719.99
Seated, a man of importance is pensive. Nicolas Chavez Sojuel expertly carves the poignant expression of a Maya ballplayer in cedarwood. The ancient athlete wears ornate jewelry, earrings and beaded necklaces; his protective wristbands and a thick, padded girdle are worn during the ritual ballgame. The Guatemalan artisan interprets a small ceramic figurine as realistically as did the pre-Hispanic ceramists of Jaina Island more than a thousand years ago. The original polychrome sculpture can be seen in the Houston Museum of Fine Arts.
Realistic Ceramic Sculpture of an Aztec Jaguar Warrior, "Fierce Aztec Jaguar Warrior"$87.99
Depicted in the Florentine Codex as well as in historic paintings, the jaguar warrior comes to life in ceramic. Artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association portray the warrior wearing the jaguar's paws on his hands as well as a mask that represents the fierce spotted cat. These fighting men formed one of the elite divisions of the Aztec army.
Collectible Archaeological Replica Ceramic Dragon Sculpture, "Moche Dragon"$104.99
A fierce horned dragon emits a shrill scream, beautifully depicted in ceramic. Walter Jose Acosta takes his inspiration from Peru's vast archaeological heritage, replicating the work of the ancestors. For decorative use only.
Signed Ceramic Aztec Sculpture from Mexico, "Aztec Deities"$339.99
By Angel Cerón, this ceramic sculpture interprets an image depicted in the Magliabechiano Codex from the late Post Classic period. It reveals elements of both the legendary Feathered Serpent Quetzalcoatl and also of the wind god Ehécatl. This wonderfully detailed Aztec deity wears a necklace of seashells and an elaborate headdress, and a bird alights on his hand.
