What a great ornament
I gave this to my daughter as a gift for her new apartment. She has good taste so I knew that she would love it and she did. Her Peruvian dad wouldnt have it any other way.
This vase is one of the most beautiful vases I have ever seen. I visited Cuzco many years ago and have a small ceramic vase with some ladies painted on it, but this is much more intricate. The artist is clearly very talented. It will have a place of honor on a ledge, leading to my master bedroom, so I will see it many times a day as I walk back and forth. I LOVE it so much!!! It is truly a piece of art.

Handcrafted Chulucanas Ceramic Decorative Vase from Peru, "Chulucanas Eyes"$54.99
Working in the traditional style of Chulucanas ceramics, Peruvian artisan Jesús Rivas designs and handcrafts this decorative vase. It features a large, pronounced body with a slender neck, finished with hexagonal and dot motifs in tones of black and ivory that evoke modern art forms. The black color is achieved by firing the vase with mango tree leaves. On the bottom, the artist inscribes his name, the name of his hometown, and the phrase (made by hand).
Handcrafted Cuzco Ceramic Vase, "The Streets of Cuzco"$49.99
The spectacular painting adorning this vase depicts a common scene in the streets of ancient Cuzco - a llama and a highlander wandering down a narrow lane. Francisco Guerreros demonstrates fine ceramic work in a piece he names "The Streets of Cuzco." Inspired by the sights of his people and the Andean culture, he creates this work using contrasting colors and vibrant geometric shapes.
Hand Painted Cuzco Ceramic Vase, "The Cottage"$29.99
The striking red background and contrasting colors that decorate this vase give it a unique visual appeal. In the distance, the eye picks up faint silhouettes of majestic mountains, and at the front of the picture, there is a modest home. Breaking the layers is a lush tropical green forest, punctuated by tall, yellow stalks. This is a beautiful piece by Francisco Guerreros.
Artisan Crafted Cuzco Ceramic Folk Art Vase, "Convent Girl"$49.99
This vase depicts a group of women sitting outside of a convent. The incredibly vivid colors and geometric shapes employed by the artist convey the life of the people illustrated here. Francisco Coronado uses the passion of various colors and contrast of black alongside bright yellow, to make a dance of harmonious color bursts in unexpected places.
