Very Precious! A Dream Come True : )
Growing up, I loved the book “ Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There”. In the book was an insect known as a ‘Rocking-Horse-Fiy . I drew one, of my own interpretation, but I lost all of my things, including all of my drawings, in a fire many years ago and could not quite capture the original thought that I had after that. When I saw this beauty I just had to have him! I was not disappointed either. He is just the cutest! I thank the artist, Togo s Suyasa, for this wonderful sculpture that he has shared with us. It has made one of the pictures that I drew years ago come to life. Of course this is a beautiful Flying Rocking Horse and not the cute insect from the book but I will hold this beautiful sculpture just as precious to my heart.
This item is an amazing exact replica of the bicycle I used to ride as a teen ager in the late '30's and early '40's. It brings back many joyful memories of freedom and spontaneity.

Handmade Chiropractic Recycled Metal Figurine from Mexico, "Chiropractic"
This charming recycled metal figurine captures a chiropractor at work on a patient laying flat on a table. Mexican artisan Armando Ramirez designs and welds the figurine from hand-selected scrap metal from a variety of Mexican automotive, industrial and construction waste sites. "The process involves selecting recycled items that can be used," says Ramirez. "I separate and soak them in a cleaning solution to remove any impurities, and solder them together until I achieve my design. Then I give it a protective coat of glossy varnish." Each piece of the sculpture is recycled and unique, with some parts oxidized to providing a rustic charm.
Recycled Auto Part Sculpture of an Owl from Mexico, "Owl on a Branch"
Working with recycled metal auto parts, Mexican artisan Armando Ramirez is proud to present his own designs in this original and striking sculpture. Depicting an owl atop a branch of rebar, the metallic sculpture possesses a lively presence.
The artisan does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
Upcycled Auto Part and Sheet Metal Hummingbird Sculpture, "Flitting Hummingbird"
Mexican artisan Armando Ramirez transforms recycled sheet metal, auto parts, and other hardware into a beautiful sculpture. A graceful hummingbird--made of intricately cut sheet metal for the wings and tail, a gear for the head, and gear chain for the underside of the body--drinks nectar from a flower supported by a stem made of rebar with a hammered sheet metal leaf, standing on a round base. This impressive sculpture is a beautiful way to celebrate both nature's beauty and the importance of protecting it through recycling.
Artisan Crafted Upcycled Metal Statuette of T-Rex, "Tyrannosaurus"
A raging tyrannosaurus roars as it gets ready to capture its prey in this statuette presented by Armando Ramirez of Mexico. This metallic dinosaur is cleverly crafted from scraps of iron and steel, and stands tall on a circular iron base.
